Now you’re anxiously searching for a website content writer – one who’s dedicated to getting results and providing a smooth, painless, and informative experience. Or maybe you’re just curious to discover how a specialist could improve your website’s performance? Perfect! Read on.

For the past 15-years, I’ve written high-performing websites and helped almost 250 organisations of all sizes to achieve great things with their digital marketing. In fact, to them, I’m more than just a London website content writer. I’m their all-round ideas guy, marketing consultant, and content strategy partner, too. I hope you’ll allow me to be those things for you.

Let’s transform your website into sales machine.

What kinds of web content do you write?

I typically begin with writing the main menu pages such as the homepage, about page, services pages, and case studies. Writing includes the all-important meta data (title tags and meta descriptions), and URL naming – the essential display copy for search engine results pages (SERPS).

For e-commerce websites, visitor-to-sale conversion rates and search engine visibility can enjoy a huge boost using customer-centric product descriptions. I’ll make all product benefits shine and alleviate any buyer pain points. And let's not forget the ‘buyer journey’ itself – the content your prospects search for before making a purchase.

It’s wise to offer them a range of pre-purchase, helpful content.
How-To guides, white papers, in-depth technical specifications, and product news are all good examples of this.

What about blog posts, articles, landing pages… SEO copywriting?

For truly effective search engine optimisation (SEO), Google loves websites that demonstrate expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness (E-A-T). This can be achieved by SEO copywriting a strategic mix of thought leadership blog posts, informative articles, news pieces, plus many other forms of web content.

With a solid content/SEO strategy, high-quality copy, and regular site updates, dominating the SERPS for your Holy Grail key phrases is within your reach. Additionally, this copy is perfect for use in your monthly newsletters, enabling you to promote offers, update existing customers, and engage new ones.

To drive immediate, targeted website traffic while your 'organic' campaign takes root, you could consider a Google pay-per-click (PPC) campaign. I’ll write highly-targeted, conversion-led landing pages, each one tailored to a specific search phrase. This means that sales or bookings could materialise within hours of launching.
It could even result in being your dominant marketing channel.

Do you have a content writing process?

Absolutely. It’s designed to make your life easier. To begin, we'll meet for a formal consultation, typically lasting between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. I’ll write the brief, identify your tone of voice, and define your page requirements (sitemap). We will discover your essential messaging needs – uncovering any hidden USPs, and gaining an understanding of the problems you solve.

I'll also challenge your thinking a little. It'll be painless.
I just don't want to leave any stone unturned in the pursuit of writing the most effective content for you.

Once I move on to the writing itself, it's a straightforward 'feedback and approval' process. But remember, in order for me to write excellent communications for you, we must maintain excellent communication between us.

How long will it take you to write my website?

Every project has its own distinct set of nuances and complexities, so timelines can vary greatly. However, let's assume the project requirements are relatively simple – something like a six-page brochure site. You have one or two stakeholders, and approve most drafts on the first go. Final drafts, ready to publish, would likely be delivered within 10 to 14 days.

More complex and long-form copy, such as articles or, in some cases, case studies, may take up to two days to draft a single piece.

How much do you charge for website copywriting?

Fees are charged in relation to the size of your company, the complexity of the job, and the time it will take to complete the writing project.

I'll give you a solid idea of pricing when we first speak. There’s never an obligation to go ahead with anything, and I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have.
